Alfie can be left alone if you need to go out and is use to a dog walker.
He sleeps in his owners room at night and is also use to the car.
Alfie can be nervous and worried about what is going on around him, some reassurance is best.
He isn’t a fan of cats.
Alfie is also registered at the vets and loves treats.
Ideally we’d like to find a home for him with someone who is potentially looking for a companion pet or a couple with no other pets or children.
Alfie loves cuddles and sitting on your lap.
He is a very sweet and loving boy.

Joy is a 7 year old female Border Collie. She is available and looking for a new home as sadly her previous owner passed away.
Joy is chipped and spayed and also up to date with her vaccinations.
She recently had a health check and is fine.
Joy has always been use to being the only pet in the house, so for her needs it’s important this stays the same for her.
She hasn’t been around small kids, a home with no children is also best for her.
She can be slightly nervous meeting new people at first. She does prefer woman and needs to build some trust with men.
Joy can be strong on the lead. She isn’t a fan of motorbikes or bikes therefore should be kept on a lead near roads.
Joy is fully house trained and can be left on her own if you need to go out.
At night she sleeps with a light on usually downstairs in the home.

Nelly is a beautiful 11 month old Beagle Pointer across Lab.
She is looking for a new home and would suit someone who is active and likes the outdoors - someone who can train her and give her the attention and time she needs.
Nelly loves cheese and also loves treats.
She is great with children and loves teenagers, she also loves to meet people and thinks everyone is her friend. She will run up to strangers to say hello.
A home with no young children is probably best as she can knock over smaller kids.
Nelly is registered at the vets and also listens to commands such as sit, paw and lie down.
She has been around cats and wants to play.
She can sometimes get anxious if left alone for long periods of time and will look to chew - this is something her training will need to be worked on to change.

Mycroft is a 1 year 10 month old Collie. He is looking for a new home and would suit someone who is active and likes the outdoors.
He is chipped and healthy.
Mycroft did live with another dog before however there was jealousy between them, therefore he would be best as an only pet in the house. He doesn’t mind other dogs, but just wants a home for himself.
He is registered at the vets and healthy with no issues, he does have a lump on his shoulder which has been checked by the vet and is of no concern or issue.
He is also up to date with flea and worm treatments.
Mycroft eats dry kibble and will occasionally get some cooked ham/cheese, he also enjoys his dog biscuits and treats.
He would be fine with a home with older children such as teenagers but no smaller kids. A home with no cats is also best.
Mycroft isn’t a fan of getting a collar on, sometimes it takes a bit of encouragement with tickles and scratches behind the ears.
He would be best in a home with a secure garden.
Mycroft loves the Petplan advert, as soon as the first note of music sounds he’s watching the tv with those little head tilts… when the advert’s finished he looks to his owner.
He also looks at the tv looking for the advert if the track is played on radio or on another device – in his mind it can only be on tv.
He would be great as a companion pet to someone. He loves to play with a ball.

Fred is a beautiful 6 year old male Husly cross Staffy.
He is very loving and absolutely adores people. He is available and looking for a home.
Fred would suit someone who is active and likes the outdoors.

Anyone wishing to offer an animal a new home will be asked for a deposit to reserve an animal until a home inspection or checks are carried out.
Deposits are to reserve an animal, so we know the potential adopter is genuine and will not waste our time.
As there is a lot of planning which goes into arranging home visits and checks, we have to take a deposit to secure the reservation and carry out these checks.
If you reserve an animal and cancel at a later date, we will not be able to refund the deposit as work may have already been carried out.
If your home inspection is not suitable or your checks fail, we will refund the deposit, minus the home checkers travel costs.
Any home checks which pass, and once an animal is rehomed, deposits are not refundable - this also applies to any animals rehomed and later returned.
Registration fees are not refundable once you or anyone acting on your behalf has registered a pet for rehoming.
By offering any animal a new home, you agree to our deposit/reservation statement.
Help2Rehome Scotland assist previous owners to find their pets a new home when they cannot look after them anymore.
If you offer an animal a new home and rehome direct from the previous owner, it is their responsibility for any paperwork medication, behaviour issues to be handed over/discussed.
Help2Rehome Scotland is not responsible for other peoples pets, including paperwork, medication or behaviour issues.
If you need to return a pet - this should be discussed with the previous owner, not with Help2Rehome Scotland.
Help2Rehome Scotland provide a service to find animals new homes and connect new owners and previous owners with each other - unless you rehome a dog directly from our own registered foster carers.
Abuse of the service will result in service being terminated.
We do not offer “rescue back up” to private individuals pets if a new home does not work out - it’s the previous owners responsibility to take their own pet back if a home does not work out, regardless of how long the pet is in the home.
