Animals looking for new homes in Scotland

Available: Radley and Oscar

Radley and Oscar are looking for a new home after the sad passing of their owner.

Radley is 11 years old, female Bichon cross Shihtzu - spayed and chipped and Oscar is male, 10 year old Westie cross maltese, chipped and neutered.

They are fully house trained and travel well in the car.

Both Radley and Oscar would need a new home together as they have always been together.

We don't split up dogs that have always been together.

Both are registered at the vets and healthy with no known medical issues.

Radley and Oscar are fine with people, Radley can be a little bit wary to begin with but soon warms to new people.

They haven't been around young kids before but would be okay with teenagers.

They don't bother with other dogs and are use to cats.

Oscar wants to be friends with a cat but sadly the cat doesn't feel the same way about him and Radley just ignores the cat.

They sleep well at night with Oscar on his cushion and Radley loves her home comforts, being cosy and snoozing.

Both can be left on their own for up to 4 hours and are use to boarding kennels.

We'd love to find them both a new home together.

If you would like anymore information please email info@help2rehome.com

Reserved: Alfie

Alfie is a 5.5 year old male Roan Cockapoo. He is available and looking for a new home.

Alfie hasn't been around kids and can be defensive around other animals - a bit barkey.

He is chipped and healthy with no medical issues.

Alfie is very loving and affectionate. He loves the outdoors and would thrive with someone who likes to be active.

He loves food and is not very fussy when it comes to eating. He gets chicken meat and kibble and also loves fish.

If you need to go out , he can be left on his own and is well behaved.

He would however like someone who is around most of the time.

He likes to be close to his owner, either sitting on the sofa or sleeping in the bed.

Alfie isn't bad on the lead, he can pull so will need someone who is strong enough to control him.

He loves treats and loves to meet new people, but can get excited and jump up.

He would be best in a home with teenagers rather than young kids.

Alfie is registered with the vets and is excellent at sit and paw.

He is obsessed with balls and will play all day with them.

He knows his name and likes to play hide and seek with his tommy turtle toy.

This is a very reluctant rehoming as his owner loves him very much, however due to a change, Alfie needs a new home.

Reserved: Joey and Chandler

Sully is a gorgeous 5 year old male Dachshund, he is looking for a new home as there has been a big change in his owners life that sadly couldn't be helped. Sully is very much loved and adored.

He would suit someone who is use to the breed, as we know they have very similar traits and characters.

Sully is friendly with cats and children, he is protective and standoffish with new people but very soon settles down when he see's they are no threat.

He's very affectionate and loves all the attention.

Sully is also chipped and healthy with no medical issues.

He would love someone who is home most of the time.

He is registered with the vets and eats Royal Canine Dachshund dog food and occasionally gets treats like cold meats.

He isn't a fan of car journeys and will get a bit stressed.

Sully sleeps in his crate in his owners room at night and is the biggest snuggler ever, he loves attention and would be sat on our knee all day if he could.

He also loves a warn bath and gets one most weekends. He doesn't like the hairdryer so does sit in front of a small fan heater to dry in around 5 minutes.

He is very low maintenance.

He doesn't like the post man or delivery guys.

If kids are play fighting he will bark.

He seems to like women more than men and can be over - protective around men he doesn't know, but he does come around.

He will make someone a great pet and whoever rehome's him will be very lucky to have such a loving dog.

Reserved: Cher

Reserved: Cher

Reserved: Cher

 Meet Cher ❤️
Cher is a beautiful 4-year-old crossbreed (Old English Bulldog × Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso) looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly thrive.

Cher is an incredibly affectionate little dog who absolutely loves nothing more than cuddling up with her favourite people. She’s happiest snuggled beside you on the sofa or curled up in bed at night, and she forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. She also enjoys soft toys (although they don’t usually last very long!), tasty treats, and showing off her tricks. She knows sit, paw, other paw, high five and “knuckles” – especially if a treat is involved!

Cher enjoys her dry food and likes a bit of variety every now and then, although she’s currently enjoying Wagg. Wet food doesn’t agree with her stomach, so she sticks to dry kibble.

Cher has always been an anxious dog, and sadly this anxiety has recently led to redirected aggression towards another dog in the household. After a great deal of thought, the heartbreaking decision that finding her the right home is the kindest and safest option for everyone involved.

She has lived with children and has always been gentle and affectionate with them and their friends once she has had time to settle. However, she does become much more anxious around very young children and toddlers, often becoming tense and uncomfortable. Because of this, we feel Cher would be happiest in an adult-only home, or one with older, sensible teenagers who understand when she needs space.

Cher has lived with other dogs throughout her life but can be nervous around unfamiliar dogs, and due to her recent behaviour we believe she would do best as the only pet in the home. She isn’t a fan of cats.

She walks reasonably well on a lead, although she can pull at times. She’s a little nervous travelling in the car but copes with reassurance. She doesn’t enjoy baths or water, and while she’s happy to be brushed, grooming can make her anxious, so patience and gentle handling are important.

Cher is microchipped and has no known medical conditions.

Cher is looking for a patient, experienced owner who understands anxious dogs and can offer her a calm, predictable environment where she can relax and feel secure. A single person or adult couple would be an ideal match. In the right home, Cher has so much love to give and will reward you with endless affection, loyalty and companionship.

This decision has not been made lightly, and finding the right forever home for Cher is our absolute priority.

Meet BENNY - A special boy looking for a new home. Help us find the perfect fit for this handsome boy.

Benny is a 7 year old Old English Bull Dog who has been loved and cherished since he was a pup.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, his family has had to make the incredibly difficult decision to find him a new loving, forever home.

Benny has been brought up with his family, including a young child with autism. Sadly due to recent behaviour changes in the home, Benny has been scared of his human sibling and his parents want to ensure Benny is in a home where he feels comfortable.

Benny is a gentle, affectionate and loving boy, who enjoys lots of cuddles, pats and generally just being spoilt.

He is loyal, faithful and will form strong bonds with the people he trusts.

Benny is happiest in a calm, predictable environment, with a lot of focus on the "Main Boy" Benny.

Benny is good with older children/teenagers, rather than younger boisterous, noisy children, which he has become less tolerant of as he is getting older.

Benny is fully house trained, he is neutered, micro chipped.

He is registered with a vet, up to date with all vaccinations, worm and flee treatments are completed regularly.

The treats he has are natural & healthy ones, however he only has these occasionally.

Deposit/Reservation Statement

Anyone wishing to offer an animal a new home will be asked for a deposit to reserve an animal until a home inspection or checks are carried out.

Deposits are to reserve an animal, so we know the potential adopter is genuine and will not waste our time.

As there is a lot of planning which goes into arranging home visits and checks, we have to take a deposit to secure the reservation and carry out these checks.

If you reserve an animal and cancel at a later date, we will not be able to refund the deposit as work may have already been carried out.

If your home inspection is not suitable or your checks fail, we will refund the deposit, minus the home checkers travel costs.

Any home checks which pass, and once an animal is rehomed, deposits are not refundable - this also applies to any animals rehomed and later returned.
Registration fees are not refundable once you or anyone acting on your behalf has registered a pet for rehoming.

By offering any animal a new home, you agree to our deposit/reservation statement.
