We recently helped Mac find a new home when his owners life changed - they loved him very much but couldn't provide for him anymore.
We added Mac to our website and had a look through our lists to see if we had anyone suitable for him when we found Lorna who was looking for a companion for her mum.
Lorna's dad had passed away and her mum was feeling a bit lonely.
That's when they seen Mac and applied to offer him a new home.
After a home check was completed, Mac was successfully rehomed.
Lorna sent an update and photo of her mum with Mac, she said “Mac had a great first night!
He's settled in so well, it's unbelievable. He's such a wee character and we all just love him!
He loves his walks and we all keep getting stopped by people wanting to pat him which he loves
I'm going to message his previous owner to let her know.
Thanks so much ” - Lorna.
Help2Rehome Scotland helped to find George the male cat a new home recently and he went to his new home in Glasgow with Stacey.
Stacey got in touch recently and said George has settled in really well.
She said George isn't keen on sleeping past 6am and usually comes into her room to wake her up.
Stacey said: '' George has settled in well!
He was a bit nervous the first night or two but after that he’s been confident and seems to be happy.
He doesn’t seem to like me sleeping past 6am and comes in to slap my face for attention, ha-ha!
I'm so glad I rehomed this handsome boy. He’s helped me settle into living alone for the first time and the flat doesn’t seem so empty anymore''.
Happy new home George!
'I would like to say a sincere and massive thank you to your team/organisation.
The service you have provided is second to none and you have eased our grief by rehoming my recently deceased mother-in-laws precious cat Nova with an amazing family.
We took Nova to them last night and instantly she looked at ease and after showing us around their immaculate and beautiful home and chatting with the couple we left her with them feeling happy in the knowledge that this was exactly what my mother-in-law would have wanted and what Nova deserves.
Thank you so very much again and keep up the good work. I most certainly will be an advocate for your services''. - Sharon Kelly, Renfrew.
We helped to rehome Molly the lovely white female cat recently after her previous owner needed to find a new home.
One of our Fife home checkers carried out a check on a new home for Molly and it was important that Molly was rehomed to the best home because she is deaf and needs some extra attention.
After a successful home inspection was carried out by our checker Janis, Molly was introduced to her new owner and rehomed.
Her previous owner Amy got in touch with us and said: ''Thank you so much for the service your volunteers provided to help rehome my cat Molly.
It was so difficult for me to give Molly away to a new home and you helped find her a lovely new family and also putting me at ease with your home check and continually updating me with the progress.
I'm so thankful for your team and all the hard work your all doing''. - Amy Clark.
Happy new home Molly.
